The three point bending presses are primarily used for flattening, setting and bending operations of plate or component sections.

These machines may have a single cross head or be provided with an extended bed form with the pressing head having the ability to traverse over the bed area in to axis. These machines are normally fitted with a computer control to operator over a semi automatic cycle or inch control for performing the forming operations with fine incremental movements and variable load. Linear transducers on both axis are used to obtain accurate positional control.
