Air Drive Hand Held

The D Series concept is based on an advanced technological design created to meet and anticipate the changing performance requirements of assembly functions. As the first tools developed by the Titan team, the many features of the air tools reflect extensive research in ergonomics and design. The dual lobe air motor makes it possible to increase torque output at a slower speed, which will reduce inertia effects and improve repeatability. The air supply can be moved from top to rear inlet locations with no special tools, making it simple to add or remove the tool from a balancer. Torque accuracy and repeatability are fast becoming a universal demand. These demands are readily met with the D Series Air tools.

Models Tailored To Your Needs Fastener Tightening systems has developed several Pneumatic Model Lines in order to provide the best tool for your situation. Air tools are available as:

  • Angle Tools
  • Inline Tools

Angle Tools

Angle Tools are designed to operate with the tool body parallel to the joint surface. Angle tools are available in:

  • Standard tools for most applications.
  • Compact tools, 5-1/2″ shorter than standard length tools for access to tight spaces or when one handed use is required.
  • Transducerized tools for applications that require data collection, but do not warrant DC tooling
Inline Tools

Inline tools are designed to operate with the tool body perpendicular to the joint surface. A hand held tool in this configuration will need to be mounted on an arm or used with a torque reach on the device. Inline tools are available in:

  • Standard tools for most applications.
  • Compact tools, 5-1/2″ shorter than standard length tools for access to tight spaces or when one-handed use is required.
  • Transducerised tools for applications that require data collection, but do not warrant DC tooling.
