Inspection Engineers

We are interested in applications for  Inspection Engineers to work in the U.K.

Duties include:

• Drawing up written schemes of Examination including use of established RBI methodologies.
• Thorough examination of pressure systems comprising pressure vessels, pipework and protective devices, including the direction of supplementary inspection and testing.
• Reporting the results of examination and draft specification of limitations and repair requirements.
• Verification of repair work.

Candidates must have at least 2 years experience of in-service examination of pressure systems in oil refinery or chemical plant and a total of 5 years relevant engineering experience.

A technical qualification at a minimum of NVQ level 4 (e.g. HNC, City & Guilds FTC, ordinary degree), or higher, in a relevant subject (e.g. mechanical engineering, fabrication and welding, metallurgy). Preferably honours degree qualified and registered with the engineering council as a chartered or incorporated engineer.

Please also note that candidates with experience solely in fabrication and construction cannot be considered.
