Paving
Breakers
Promaxx™ paving breakers
Available in 60 and 90 lb. capacity versions, they deliver more
power than competitive tools, with one-third fewer parts, easier
maintenance, and a host of ergonomic and convenience features. The
unique design of the Promaxx paving breakers is based on extensive
input from actual users. For example, the spring-loaded anvil bushing
keeps the tool firmly pressed against the work surface, while reducing
vibration to the operator. The four bolt backhead is contoured to
fit the operator’s leg and provides for fast removal and service.
Optional flex handles help absorb vibration in a full 360 degree
range of motion, improving comfort and control far better than spring-mounted
handles. And the optional muffler kit is attached with a single
bolt, simplifying field additions. The front head and cylinder housing
are backed by a three-year warranty, while all other components
are covered for one full year.
Low vibration
– High Performance
Ingersoll-Rand,
acclaimed throughout the construction industry for the reliability
and consistent performance of their handheld tools, now introduce
two new paving breakers designed to meet the demands of the industry
regarding productivity standards and environmental concerns relating
to handtool vibration and noise limitations.
Operator
comforts
The PB50ASF
and PB60ASF provide an approximate 65% reduction in handle vibration
levels compared with standard breakers the same size. The vibration
resisting characteristic of the tool is achieved by the simple yet
efficient handle design which enhances operator comfort and allows
work for longer periods with less fatigue. Furthermore, the well-balanced
design allows the operator full control of the breaker whilst in
operation. Fewer moving parts, by design, make servicing and maintenance
a simple and cost-effective process.
Power and
productivity
In field tests,
Ingersoll-Rand vibration-reduced breakers achieved the same consistency
in their production and penetration capabilities as standard breakers,
whilst at the same time reducing the exposure of the operator to
vibration, in both working and pullback modes.
Exploit new
opportunities
In a tough and
robust environmental the Ingersoll-Rand breakers will handle any
construction, demolition and utility application economically with
a minimum amount of maintenance.
