From our head office at Sheffield, we operate a national network of depots, providing the 24-hour emergency cover the modern rail infrastructure demands.

Our capability offers a wide range of options from single/multi discipline labour supply to total project management from planning to handback. We currently provide these services to the major infrastructure, maintenance and renewal companies, as well as industrial concerns such as quarries, dock operators, chemical companies and mines.

Industry and Investment

Motherwell Bridge has made a significant investment with the relevant acquisition of AS Rail and Midland Supervision and Installation Services to develop a single operation with a total in-house project capability.

Further investment is available to increase its operational and regional capability in the development of a strategy for further national and overseas coverage.

Motherwell Bridge Rail is continually reviewing the purchase of new items of plant and machinery to improve the speed and quality at which works can be completed.

Rail Plant and Machinery

We currently operate our own PLASSER-THEURER Road Rail Tamper, in conjunction with additional mechanical ballast packers. Maintained by professionally qualified staff, it is supplemented on a regional basis by all types of small mechanical plant and hand tools.
