projects undertaken recently, which included the supply and
installation of the refractories.

Construction
of the Hartlepool 44″ Mill Replacement Project undertaken for
Corus. The installation included. jacking the roof structure,
80 ft x 250 ft up by 20′ to accommodate the replacement ‘O’
Press, thereafter, installation of 9000T of mechanical equipment
involved in the project.
Strand
Bloom Caster
John
Young carried out the complete installation of the new 6 Strand
Bloom Caster at Corus, Scunthorpe. This was undertaken as a
turnkey contract covering the mechanical, pipework and electrical
works. The mechanical installation involved 3400T of equipment.
