– New Board appointments
As part of a
strategic plan MB Aerospace has announced two new appointments to
its’ Board of Directors. Both Craig Gallagher and Callum Gough have
joined the company from within the MB Group.
Callum has taken
up the post of Operations Director with the intention to utilise
his manufacturing and process planning experience to further enhance
the integration of our recent acquisitions into our new trading
style. Callum joins the company from MB Plastics and will be based
at MB Aerospace’s Burnley plant (Formerly TRW Lucas) where the company
machines precision components and assemblies for civil and military
aircraft, helicopter, Aero and industrial gas turbine engine and
defence clients.
Craig has taken
up the post of Commercial and Programme Director. This will allow
the company to draw on his experience of supply chain management
and customer service achieved in the distribution sector with MB
Engineering Services. It is intended to create a more ‘customer
focused’ approach to Aerospace industry programmes. These programmes
require significant planning, can stretch several years and require
continual emphasis on improving processes, techniques and utilising
common resources. Craig will be based at the company’s new purpose
built plant at Motherwell that caters for manufacture of both Aero
Engine and Aero Structure components.
