Following acquisitions of various welding distributors since 1995, the identity of Motherwell Bridge Welding Systems has been established to reflect a National approach, focusing on developing local needs, whilst also offering opportunities to service national and global clients. With coverage from Aberdeen to Bristol, Motherwell Bridge Welding Systems is now able to offer a comprehensive range of welding products and services from all its UK locations.

The acquisitions of Saturn Welding Services (Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Glasgow and Seaham), Aberdeen Welding Supplies, Devine Welding (Motherwell), Kings Welding (Grimsby), Thomas A Metcalfe (Manchester, Runcorn, Bristol, Derby, Burnley & Stoke) and Mainline Welding Equipment (Glasgow) have allowed the company to build on an already structured base of local companies throughout the UK.

These locations are now able to offer a broad range of welding equipment, consumables and related accessories, whilst also introducing new product lines that include power tools, abrasives, safety and leisure wear.
