Skid-Mounted FRP Vessels and Columns in Furane Resin

The presence of solvents in this skid mounted acid gas scrubber system, necessitated the use of Furane resin for construction of the vessels and columns. The FRP fabrications were mounted into the unit at MB Plastics factory and shipped as an assembly to a major pharmaceutical manufacturers plant in the Irish Republic. The design parameters were -20 to100 degrees centigrade, and 3 bar gauge to full vacuum. (Photo)
