Technical assistants to assist inspection engineers at our client sire in the following areas:
Development of work packs for inspection of plant and structures on offshore oil installations and onshore oil and chemical plant.
Input of data to inspection databases; print out of reports
Assistance in the administration of logistics for offshore inspection works.
Organisation and management of paper records.
Assitance with maintenace of cost records, cost reporting and invoicing.
Applicants must have:
At least 2 years experience that demonstrate a working knowledge of oil production or processing installations and their equipment.
A working knowledge of piping, vessel and structural drawings and specifications and an ability to read them and understand their content formed during at least 2 years of relevant experience.
A working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; an ability to produce appropriately written and formatted documents with those products.
A demonstrated ability to work in a team with flexibility and self direction.
A working knowledge of inspection databases (eg Credo, ACET) demonstrated by actual hands-on experience
